Message to Sonoro Gold Shareholders

Dear Valued Shareholders,

On Monday, June 23, 2025,  Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum announced that no new mining concessions will be granted and Environmental Impacts for existing concessions will be reviewed. President Sheinbaum also confirmed that her administration will not implement the prior administration’s proposal to ban all open-pit mining.

Please note that President Sheinbaum’s announcement does not impact Sonoro Gold Corp. as we are not applying for new concessions at this time. Sonoro holds 100% title to the concessions for both its Cerro Caliche and San Marcial projects in Sonora, Mexico and the required Environmental Impact Statement (MIA) for the Cerro Caliche project is under review by Secretaría de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (SEMARNAT).

The MIA is a required permit for the construction and operation of mining operations in Mexico and, as stressed by President Sheinbaum, each current or future operations, including open-pit mining, are being assessed individually, based on environmental impact. Sonoro is confident the project has met all environmental and social regulatory requirements and anticipates the Cerro Caliche project will be approved.
